How Do I Know The Quality Of The Diamonds You Use?Updated 2 years ago
We list the specifications of the diamonds we use in the jewelry we offer. However, when you're purchasing a special item, like an engagement ring, you shouldn't just take our word for it. That is why we include a report from an internationally recognised Gemological laboratory for all diamond center stones from 0.30ct upwards.
These reports are from either the GIA or the IGI and are specific to the stone in your ring. Each report is individually numbered so they are fully traceable, and each report has details of the precise carat weight, cut, color, and clarity of your diamond.
These are issued for both natural and lab diamonds, so you can be assured that the quality of the gemstones has been independently verified. You can also be fully assured that your lab diamond is a lab diamond and not a simulant such as cubic zirconia.
You may wish to include a copy of your report with the documentation for your insurance company as corroborating the valuation, but you should retain the original in a safe place with any other paperwork relating to your purchase.
